As a member of Capstone Agency’s creative copy department, the idea that our lives revolve around content calendars is a quick, yet valid assumption. More specifically, our lives revolve around our client’s content calendar. 

Like many of my fellow peers, I began my time at the agency hesitant and hopeful. Hopeful for what the future would bring me, but hesitant to have the responsibility of working with real-world clients. As a copywriter, my responsibilities include, but are not limited to: creating press ads, content calendars, flyers, brochures, client briefs and generally anything else the client needs surrounding tangible content.

It is our job, as creative copywriters, to convey the client’s wishes in a clear, concise and unique way. In my experience, being a member of the creative team is one of the most rewarding aspects of being in the agency; we help make our client’s visions become a reality. As a creative copywriter, we provide numerous outlets in order for them to brand their company and accurately personify all the qualities they want to exude to the public.

Because of this immense dedication to our clients, Capstone Agency has been named the top student-run agency in the country by PRSSA for the third year in a row! As my time in Capstone Agency, and as a student at The University of Alabama, comes to a close, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have been given while being a part of this team. The real-world experience I’ve been given will stay with me well into my personal endeavors, as well as my career.
